Can I restrict the division of ancestral and property earned by father

I am from a Hindu family, my mother passed away few years ago. My father is set to remarry a woman who has 2 children. Is it possible to restrict the division of ancestral and property earned by my father before his second marriage to just me and my brother and not with any step brother or sister we may get? if yes please elaborate the options.
no you cannot restrict your father to transfer his own earned property or ancestral property during his lifetime
