Can I break into my own apartment?

My mom owns a house and a apartment and me and my brother are the only children, but recently by brother dies and his wife stays in the house and I want to stay in the apartment but my brother's wife locked it, didn't want me to stay their because she thinks that my brother deserve the property because he is son and I don't deserve it because I am a married daughter. Can I break the lock and enter the apartment?

Since it is your Mother's own property you have absolute right on that property. Nobody can resist you to enter that property.
