Buyer requesting Notarized document after sale

26-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi My brothers sold part of their inherited land . After the sale the buyer is asking for a Notarized copy of our Parents Will for themselves. Why would they need this ? Is there any risk for us if we give them this ? Thanks Dilip.

It is the RIGHT of the buyer to get the copy of the prior document from the seller. There is no any risk for you to give the WILL of your parents to him. But instead of giving the notarised copy of the Will it is better to give the certified copy. And you may give the death certificates of your parents though it was not asked.
