Agricultural land purchase by husband of farmer woman

My wife is farmer. She has got 7/12 extract of agricultural land mentioning her married name.nnI as a husband of farmer women can purchase agricultural land myself?nnOr in combined name of both?nOr should I purchase in her name & then do bakshispatra to transfer to my name?
in Maharashtra agriculture land can be purchased only by a framer. As mentioned your wife is a farmer. But her husband cannot be a farmer as he is married to a farmer.
