I am USA citizen . I have India OCI card. My father has 2 acres of agricultural land . He is trying to register the agricultural land on my name. Are OCI card holders can have farming land inherited from parents Can you please let me know the process how I could get the land registered on my name.nnDoes my father can gift the agricultural land to me .
The guidelines also state that one can buy any number of residential or commercial properties. However, they are not permitted to invest in farmland, plantation land, and agriculture land. But, they can inherit the agricultural land/plantation property/ farmland. Yes, it can be via transfer or gift deed or a Will Nama.
