Can married daughter claim in ancestral farm land in Uttar Pradesh?

05-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
I'm married, and my brother and father don't talk to me, we have a ancestral farm land in a village near Ghaziabad. When I asked my father and brother about my share in that land, they said married daughters have no rights in farm land in Uttar Pradesh and this land is belong to our son, we already put their names in will and you can't claim now. This land is purchased by our great grandfather. Is this true in Uttar Pradesh married daughters have no rights in farm land?

No it is not so, you can well claim your share out of that property if it is not got transferred in name of your brothers before 2005.
It is a very well ancestral property with your established right in it as per the now governing laws of land through out India including Uttar Pradesh.
Hire a prudent advocate and file a case of partition and declaration of the land. There is no specific law in case of farm house land in Uttar Pradesh which bars your right on land and house on it.

They say that married daughters do not have a right to inherit ancestral land in Uttar Pradesh. As the law is the same for all Indians, if you're married you have a right to inherit property in Uttar Pradesh. The U.P. contains sections 108,109,110 and 112.
