I am an NRI and my wife disrespects my family and therefore need advis

I am a permanent resident in UK (Indian Citizen). I got married in Chennai and registered with Tamil Nadu marriage act and Hindu marriage act. I kater found out that my wife (Indian Citizen) only married me as she wanted to enter UK and after 5 years living in UK she can become a UK resident. I now feel I have been used. She never respected my family values or Hindu culture and her intention was not made clear before the engagement. Now I am stuck with a wife who lives in her Dad's house when in India and lives in her Sister house in UK and does what ever she wants to do without my knowledge. How should I approach this legally?

There are two ways to deal with your scenario. First one is that if you have decided that there is no love anymore in the marital relationship with your wife then you can initiate legal proceedings for divorce in India which is original jurisdiction and your wife will be hesitant to come to India to challenge the case. The next option is that you can file a divorce case in UK and your wife will comfortably challenge it in her country of residence and eventually she might get citizenship and used you.

file a divorce over there , and file a domestic violence case against her stating that she made a mental agony and disrespecting your family members and using your money and time is also a mental cruelty and she will be liable to be guilt.. if she is in abroad , file the complaint over there and if she in tamilnadu get me the details of her so I can file case against her..
