Sufficiency of Notarized Talaq E Ahasan dispatched with 2 witnesses to
18-Nov-2023 (In Muslim Law Law)
Through my lawyer I dispatched a notarized Talaq E Ahasan with 2 witnesses. Mahr and. Maintenance cheque. Prior to this ny a month mediation notice was also sent by my Lawyer. Iddat period of 90 days completed. Is the divorce completed and legally valid? Do we still need to issue a Talaqnama from mosque? Or that talaq E Ahasan notice Is sufficient legally as divorced muslim husband and wife in eyes of Indian Law.
Well, Talaqnama is must. By proving, that, Iddat of 90 Days has been over and you have given her Maintenance and Mahr, additionally, you have tried for the Mediation as well, but, things didn't resolve from your wife's end, you will get Divorce.
