how to secure minor property in islam

i belongs muslim family, My husband passed away 2022, I have minor son with 6 years, As per Muslim law, my father in law will be the legal guardian for my son. my in laws family may misuse my son's propery, what I need to do secure my son property to avoid misuse by my in laws family
