Can I marry a married muslim man

I'm a unmarried hindu girl in love with a muslim married man with 2 kids.we both are in relationship since 2years.he is not happy with his marital life.we both decided to get married.need suggestion.he is ready to divorce his wife.is there any chance of me converting into muslim and getting married/pls suggest next action for marriage.thank you.

You didnt stated your age, assuming you are major. If you intend to convert into Muslim, the conversion process can be done and you will obtain a new muslim name. The Marriage can be solemnized between you both as per muslim law before a Qazi which is legally valid. If you want to stick to your old religion, the marriage can be performed under Special Marriage Act. You have to consider other aspects of his children, whether you can accomodate them in you life, because it has implication on inheritance over property rights, etc. Consult for further advise.
