Got into an accident but didn't stopped as the person was armed

Actually today I got into an accident, while I was exiting a roundabout a motorcycle at a high speed crashed into my car.I had the indicators on but still he crashed . He was probably armed (its Delhi you know !) and so we didn't decide to stop our car and fled the scene, but at some distance to men followed us and told,"you can't escape we have your number plate on our camera " and then threatened us and told to pull over , but we knew it was still dangerous and so we didn't stop our car and fled! Just wanted to ask if I would get into any trouble because I didn't stopped ?

Yes you may, If at all the person the person who has got hit files a criminal complaint against you, you can be booked for rash and negligent driving under the Motor Vehicles Act. if he died because of the accident, the you shall be booked for hit and run .
