Complaint against challan for holding phone in hand while driving bike

I was holding my mobile in hand while driving bike was not talking on it. But I was Challan of Rs200/ for using mobile. My bike was taken to traffic office by the officer in white uniform. Was it right.

Dear Client,
Kindly note Exemption is not given to anyone in the M.V Act . You have to stop the vehicle and attend to the phone call.
You can have your story that phone was just in hand, then who was holding the handles would be the question of Judge ( if you file the case).

So for your safety and secure life, never attend/handle/touch phone while driving. Though you might have found police bit harsh, but its for your good.

yes... he is right as per moral law.. because every time traffic police couldn't see that you are speaking or not... according to amended motor vehicle act mere caught mobile when driving is liable to penalty
