Sir,
It’s a bus accident case of my daughter who was a Engg. Student who was hit by a local town bus on 11.11.2011 and a lawer in Salem town area voluntarily asked for the case and he promised that a claim will be of 50Lakhs and we believed him and the case was given to him but after dragging the case for more than seven years got a Judgement Of only 9 lakhs as claim.

I would like to know that by making a appeal against the Judgement can my family get enhanced claim compensation for her life
If you are not happy with the compensation which have been ordered by the tribunal you can go for the appeal but don't blame on the advocate. He would have done his work sincerely. Please remember that in the appeal also the advocate will do their work but the order has to be given by the appellate court.

Yes sir.. Definetly You can enhance the claim compensation by making an appeal against that judgement.. Normally when the matter was taking into consider the lower court would took all the aspect than passes the order if we are not satisfied that we can approach the honble High court to enhance the award amount passed by the lower court

yes, you can for sure file an appeal in High Court and the amount will be increased. High Court will calculate various other options in deciding the compensation and for sure the amount will be more than lower court. not sure about the disability percentage but we may claim upto 20 Lakhs considering the disability, age factors, future of the victim etc.
