Q: How to reply to a divorce notice ?
Hi, I am thinking of filing a divorce notice to my wife. Once the notice is served, by when and how should my wife respond to the notice? what happens after divorce notice is served ? Is there any time period before which the respondent (my wife) has to respond to the notice in writing or do they have to directly appear in the court for the hearing?
Advocate Sumathi G answered
Either you can send a legal notice and wait for 15 days for a reply or you can file a petition for divorce directly in your local jurisdiction family court. Post filing case in court, court will send notice to your wife for which your wife need to appear in court.

Q: About Non Bailable warrant ..............
Once non bailable warrant issued against accused u/s 138 NI act by the Magistrate. At the same time accused not in the said address which is mentioned in the warrant (Abscond).Whether Police will find her and produce the accused in the court.
Advocate Sumathi G answered
Ideally police reach at the address mentioned in the warrant only. once the accused is not in the mentioned address, police will not be of much help. if the complainant wishes, he can use his resources to find the current address of the accused and update the police who can arrest the accused (all the expenses might be borne by the complainant though)
