The landlord is charging an additional amount for the water bill.

19-May-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
In the agreement, we have agreed to pay Rs. 950 for the water bill, but we were not informed that additional charges will be incurred if our relatives come and stay for a brief period.nnIn the event that any of our relatives come & stay for a short period after occupying the home, the landlord charges an additional fee for their stay.

we need to see the rental agreement and the clauses to see if this legal. if it is silent, the charges levied are irrational and can be challenged. hence, we need to look at the clauses of the agreement to make a decision
