Tenants Renting Property without Owner consent

Hello,
We are Land Owner in Mumbai Malad (Pagadi System), our tenants are renting their Property on 11 month lease without our permission or consent, and they are earning good monthly revenue. So is this legal and if not than what action can be taken against them, Please let me know. Thanks
Well, Sub letting is illegal and you should have included this in your Rental or Lease Contract with all the tenants being landlords. If you have not permitted for sub letting in the lease contract executed between Landlord and your Tenants and despite that, your Tenants have been subletting, then you can drag them to Small Causes Court for the eviction of tenants and their sub tenants or sub lessess. You can seek compensation too from the tenants who have indulged in subletting your Property without your consent.
