Sub letting the house on lease

Hi. I have sublet a leased a house in Bangalore . Now the owner is harrassing us to vacate the house telling us to vacate the house and shall recover the money from the person who has leased us the house .what do we do
normally it is governed by the rental agreement. if the agreement prohibits such sub letting, it's not possible to sublet. if it's an oral agreement, the owner can ask you to vacate or send you an eviction notice
