Rent increase without notification and asking to vacate if not aggreei

Hello Sir/ Madam,nI have rented out a property just 2months back and now owner is increasing the rent without a prior notice and asking us to leave the flat in a month if not agreeing with the new rent.nWe have a rent agreement of 2 yrs with a clause of yearly increment in the rent.nHe has also asked one girl to vacate the flat on urgent basis as he rented out to new person on high rent and my flatmate doesn’t has a place to go right away.nPlease nWhat legal action we can take against him.

Well, you should remain stick to that particular Home,where you are. Let the Landlord go into Court to file a case against you to recover his rented accommodation from you. Landlord knows this situation quite well, that's why, he is trying to create pressure upon you through Pre Litigation itself,so that he could convince you by using sugar coated words to leave his rented accommodation under the excuse, that, he requires this rented accommodation for his bonafide use now
