Registered lease agreement: need to revise rent only

A and B signed a lease agreement 1 years back (for 4 years). This was registered and registration fee paid. After one year of running lease,due to demonetization,rentals have fallen. Both parties have mutually agreed that rent should be lesser. What is the simplest and valid documentation required that will change the rent amount, keeping rest of the terms same.
