queries regarding the increment in rent by the landlord

22-Feb-2024 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
Can the Landlord increase the rent of the property during the first three years of renting out the residential property? If the rent agreement made is for 11 months, can the landlord increase the rent in first three years, or after the expiration of the rent agreement?

yes he can increase the rent. there is no bar with regards to the increment of rent.

however, it is important to note that the landlord cannot increase the rent arbitrarily during the tenure of the agreement, but the rent can be changed with due consent of both the parties.
