Is backdated rent agreement for valid passport address proof

Can we make backdated rent agreement to be valid for passport address proof. Means i am leaving at particular place from 25 March 2017 and i want to make rent agreement now (05 July 2017). will it be ok to mention 25 March 2017 as a tenancy date on agreement ? and will it be acceptable as passport address proof?
