I wish to vacate my rented house and refund of my security deposit

Hello,
I am living at Keshav Nagar. Recently I lost my Job and I want to vacate. The landlord is denying to refund my security deposit.
what should I do?
there is no lock-in period mentioned in the agreement
you will need to send a demand letter to him for refund of your security deposit and the reasons for withholding the security deposit. You move to court if he fails to provide you with the reply and seek advocate services.
