Document produced by defendant during cross examination of plaintiff

18-Dec-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
Defendant has in his written statement given a list of documents that he will rely upon but had not submitted any copy or original of any document. He has now produced one document during cross examination of plaintiff. Plaintiff said sign on document is his. But plaintiff lawyer objected to producing document now at this stage. Is the document admissible/ can it be marked exhibit?

This is my response to you:
1. One will need to know the whole facts of the case to offer better opinion;
2. If the documents is important evidence then the same may be added at any stage of the trial;
3. The document if could decide the future course of action, then the same will be admissible;
4. Any additional evidence can be place before the court with the leave of the court;
5. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
