Termination on the ground of illicit relationship with customer

24-Jun-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi Need one suggestion we have terminated one employee on the ground of having illicit physical relationship with one of our customer. Customer lodged a complaint in police station under sec. 493 & 420 of IPC. From police investigation report it was clear that both of them were having illicit relationship so the court gave the employee clear cheat from all the allegations. But in our HR manual it is clearly mentioned that there should not have any kind of physical relationship with any of the customer. moreover brand name of the company got hampered. So is termination is justified

Well the Policy of the Company in that matter is required to be seen to advise more properly.
Apparently the termination seems perfectly legal and no dispute should come arising out if it.
However we never know the actions of the employee against such termination.
