13-Oct-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
my brother ,went to his office, fell down in office and suffered a stroke and he got hospitalised.at first he was in icu of hospital for 15 days and huge hospital bills. luckily there is health insurance from the company which can cover hospital bills. but post discharge from hospital my brother gets into paralytic condition ,bedridden for maybe months ,years needing assistants for taking him to washroom ,changing clothes and also a physiotherapist with expenses of 6--7 lakhs per annum. something normal family cant afford.what should be done ?should his company pay up all the bills till my brother gets ok?.and what about the intense mental stress and forced expenses the family faces ?

This is my response to you:
1. The incident has occurred during the course of employment;
2. You can still claim the insurance;
3. Once injury has cascaded to another illness;
4. Also there is permanent disablement;
5. Consult a local lawyer and take legal steps.
