Clarification on oral termination from job in LIC of India

23-Dec-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
A worker worked for 9 years continuously in LIC of India. He was appointed, after interview by the LIC. The grade worked is Assistant and called as Temporary Assistant. Paid wages of Rs.13,000 p.m. at present. Work involved computer work, office work. Worker was asked not to come for work on 18-12-2017 orally and no communication is done in writing and no notice pay, compensation paid. What the service rules of LIC says on such termination and how the employee has to move ?

Firstly is there any contractual agreement between your employer i.e., LIC and the employee. secondly if agreement persists what are its terms of the contract with regard to employment. Thirdly with your explanation of your grade it is clearly mentioned as Temporary Assistant which clearly signifies that the post is allocated for carrying out temporary assignments. further we can come to the conclusion the temporary assignments was continuous for a period of 9 years and probably now they have found that they do not require further services from your end. The handbook of LIC is enforceable to their contractual employees.
