Can private company ask for bond amount if joining Indian Air Force

Can a Private company ask for a bond amount from an employee who is leaving the for joining Indian Armed forces as an officer. P.S. The Company has provided training to the employee and signed a bond. Please guide me regarding this.

Yes, the private company can ask for the bond amount if and so it is mentioned in your appointment/ joining letter. If not then you are not entitled to pay it. You can even speak to the HR regarding the same. The company usually asks for the bond amount is the expenditure done by them over you during the training period.
