Can we Reduce the Minimum height in MVSI Exam in Rajasthan it is 168 Cm. . Because The hight in Gujrat-162 Cm, Maharastra-163 Cm. & Telangna-165 Cm. in 2012,2013 & 2015 PSC MVSI (Motor Vehicle Sub Inspector) Exam.This Exam is Conducted the Rajasthan Transport Subordinator Service Rule 1963. Can we amendment threw the other states vacancy.
Your recourse would lie in a writ petition to be file before the Rajasthan High Court. You will need to challenge the rules that prescribe such a requirement. Whether the court will interefere or not is a matter of the court's discretion. However, if you would want to challenge the rules, this would be the way to proceed with the same.
Courts however seldom interefere in matters of policy. You could however make out a case stating that other states have much lower requirements in height and the height prescribed in Rajasthan has been set arbitrarily and without any logical basis.
