About service agreement/job bond

I've signed for a agreement that I'll be in service for At least one year in a consultancy company.. in case I leave before that I've to pay 50% of gross emoluments paid on me... They haven't given me any training so far...What happens if I break the agreement? Please suggest... I got better salary offer in other company.

Hi, as you have executed an undertaking with the Company you cannot break that. In case you break it then it will be breach of contract and you shall be liable to pay the amount as mention in the contract for breach of contract. Though if you opt to fight your case in the court of law then we can look into all the parameters to convince the Hon'ble Court to quash the payment which you are liable to based on the provisions and benefits which you got and not got from the company.
