A PERSON RESIDING IN INDIA, PLAYING OR PLACING BETS ONLINE , THE SITE IS HAVING LEGAL LICENSE TO RUN ONLINE BETTING ALL OVER THE WORLD. WHAT WILL BE THE LEGAL ACTION TOWARDS INDIAN LAW. WILL HE BE ALLOWED TO PLACE BET OR NOT
1. Foreign company is entitled to do business in India even by electronic method but subject to following conditions
2. Foreign company would be required to establish a work in India and registration is compulsory with ROC
3. If this company are registered it is valid or it's invalid

dear client, as per Indian laws betting is treated as illegal,hense though that sight is legal and license holding but the place where these activities are going to be placed in Indian land hense those will be punishable by Indian rules of betting,

In my opinion as for the online betting / gambling the law is not clear in India. There were some conflicting decisions by the courts some time ago. There was a decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Mahalakshmi Cultural Association Vs Director General of Police & Ors dated 18.08.2015. The judgment is not very clear on online gambling or placing bets online.
