What to do if my money is not refunded

Hi,my question is the person took money from us and tell us that u r job is fix in abroad and for visa purpose u need to pay the amount. We have to pay the full amount by the end of the month so we can proceed with the same as soon as possible and we will pay the deposit accordingly and we paid for thia. But afterwards he started the giving excuses and said now its eid season the visa is under process now and start giving excuses. Now its 10 months i lost my job and i lost my money as well. Now he ia not ready to return the money... I request him many time and angery to pay the amount. Now he is not receive the call and not answering the messages. And he is froud business still going on. And as per his visiting card by profession he is High Court lawyer. And i have all profs and bank transation details as well.
