Query regarding Name change and the hurdles

Greetings,
My name is Rains(orignal Atharva), I am currently studying for my bachelor's in Germany. I had a change in religion to christianity. I want to know how would I be able to change my name (both first name and last name). I do have the student visa for germany and I have the indian passport. I am nominated in one of my mother's property in India. I want to know if changing my name is going to be a hurdle in these legal matters. especially that I my mother does not support it.
Well, first of all, I would like to know the exact reason, behind your need to change the name, whether it is mere to get yourself nominated in your Mother's Property or else reasons too exist? Also, mention the new name which you want to keep and as per which religion.
