Writ petition

22-Jan-2026 (In High Court Law)
My writ petition has been pending in the High Court for the past 7 months. But my lawyer is saying she submitted a listing memo, but has not filed it. What is the procedure to expedite or move it forward?

Dear Sir, You have check on administrative side as to whether there are any office objections are to be cleared. Then move an application for early hearing. Sometimes advocates not ready to argue the matter in front particular Judge. please check.

An interim application seeking early hearing can be filed which may be entertained by the court depending on the urgency of the matter. You may contact me incase you are looking for further assistance in the matter.

Hi . In High court to expedite the procedure you will have to make a submission before the Court showing the urgency in the matter and once the date is given on the memo you will have to follow up with the listing in the pending branch from where the file will move to the board branch.
