Wife's parents not permitting her to come to me what to do.

14-Dec-2023 (In Family Law)
We married (intercaste) in Dec 2013 and registered our marriage ,but did not disclose to our parents. She went to live with her parents after 1 week of marriage. We disclosed our marriage in Aug 2014. But her parents are not agreeing. They are threatening us and not allowing my wife to come to me. My parents are ready to accept. Now I am working in Delhi and my family as well as my wife's family is in UP. What Should I do ? Can I file case in Delhi ?

As for the information provided by you that parents of your wife are treating you as well as not permitting your wife to join you're so in this case I think to move a writ petition of Habeas Corpus will be perfect remedy for you again I would like to tell you you can file this writ petition into your concerned High Court

Dear Client, first and foremost I would like to know under what act is your marriage registered. If you have a registered marriage certificate, you can file a simple police complain or for a strong approach you can also file a writ petition in the high court.

You can file petition at Family court for Restitution of Conjugal Rights in Delhi. The notice will be sent to other party and made bound to reply before court. The court will make them convinced to send your wife. God bless you dear
