Wife Of My Younger Brother Filed A Case Against Me On DV Act

Hi, my younger brother got married at 18/July/2021. After marriage wife of my brother abuse our family and gave threat to make a fake case under dowry act to our family my brother support her. My mother already make a complaint against both of them on sep/2021 in our nearest police station. Now she is at our maternal home (aligarh) and from there she file a case against me, my sister and brother in law under DV act section 12,17,18,19,20,22 now we need a consultation for this case

What happened to the complaint filed by your mother…any progress or any FIR registered…??? You can also file a section 9 application in the court just to create a pressure on them so that they withdraw their complaint under the DV act. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Legal Notice will be sent and then it will be resolved . That after sending legal notice will wait for 7 days and then file a case before the appropriate forum. A cross case would be filed based on the first case filed by the petitioner.
