A succession certificate is issued by District Judge of a relevant jurisdiction. To obtain a succession certificate, a petition can be prepared & filed. The relevant jurisdiction of the District Court for filing a petition for obtaining a succession certificate would be where the deceased person ordinarily resided at the time of death. If no such place is available, the relevant jurisdiction would be within any property belonging to the deceased may be found.

Dear Sir, You have to file application under Section 372 of Succession Act in Bengaluru by producing residential certificate or rental agreement or Aadhar cards or Voter ID cards. You must also produce Death Certificate if original father and family tree. Please contact my office for more details.
