Sister's objecting to registered will, can it be done?

My father passed away in 2012, and he made a will but is not registered. The witness who signed, are still alive. I want to registered that will. We are 3 brothers and 6 sisters. The property is divided in we three brothers only. But my sisters are against of the will. Will it is possible, that the written will be accepted by the court and can be registered?

You can get your will probated by court by filing probate petition and there is no need to get it registered. Even if you get it registered, still dispute with your sister will remain and thus, it would be better to get will proved by filing probate petition.

as per your information provided your dispute is regarding property partition but you have not mention that whether the property is acquired by your father or ancestral property ?
will can be registered but will registration is not necessary.

If u approach to court for execution of will it must be registered. Then you file probate in court for execution of will. They your sister is the class one legal heirs they can claim but you have right.

After the death of a person will cannot be registered. So you can not registrred the will. There are two ways you can execute the will . You can file the suit in court for partition using will to get your share in the will or if you want to challenge the will go for probate of will.
