Re Registration Of Marriage Under Difference Hindi Marriage Act

Marriage is registered under 1955 hindu act, if one wants to change it to 1954 hindu marriage act. Is it possible.
Hi, once the marriage is registered under the prevalent act, then again there cannot be a re-registration. Any such registrations without the knowledge of the registering officer or such act shall be null and void.
