Protection order or injunction order?

I need protection against my parents for harassment and abuse and forceful admission in a rehab 3 times by now. My parents have actually kidnapped me 3 times and forcefully made me to stay in a rehab 3 times already. I have no mental health issue and I am not an addict neither have even tried addictive substances. It is just that I am a female with a very strong personality that is not accepted by my Parents. My Parents want me to not question them, not give back answers, obey them always etc. I am not allowed to have any opinions and I am compelled to behave the way they want me to behave. And if I disobey, I am labelled mentally unstable and I am forcefully, literally kidnapped and put in a Mental rehab. I need a Protection order or injunction order? Which one is appropriate for me? And would that be sufficient for my protection? If I do get abducted again, how will the order work?

You can move to court and can take protection order under the provisions of protection of women's from domestic violence act if you are female. As this law is not applicable to male aggrieved person. Also you can take prohibitory order.

Sorry to know about your situation. What is your age? You should try to amicably resolve the issue with the help of your relatives who might act as mediator and try to pacify both of you and if it doesn't and if you are major then no one can legally compel you.

Hi, the best way is to initiate proceedings against them for domestic violence. Protection order under same root can be obtained from court and police will ensure after this order that you won't be abducted it kidnapped by your parents. In such similar case, delhi high court under writ of habious corpus ordered to release the daughter.
