Procedure to get married legally without traditional norms

01-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
Myself ANURAG SHUKLA (Hindu, brahmin, General category). Is this possible to get married with my gf without any traditional marriage ceremony, without permission of parents of both party? We both need to have a registered marriage certificate. We both have guarantor above 3 or 4 persons, who are our friends and cousins. My gf is also brahmin, Hindu and general category. Main issue is about economical level. Her father is a govt servant. She belongs from a economically strong family and I am from medium class former family. That's why, her father will never agree for this relation. Her brothers are partially dengerous, so i also need polics protection. So I thought to contact you. Please give me solution.

Hi Anurag,
I have read your message carefully and I am of the opinion that according to Hindu marriage act the age of male should be above of 21 years and for female the age should be above of 18 years. The copies of high school certificates for age proof, copy of ration card or Addhar card for residential proof and photo I'd of both the parties are required for registration of maariage along with latest photos. You can visit any Arya Samaj Mandir and do maariage there who will issue certificate of maariage then after obtaining maariage certificate you can apply for registration of maariage before Registrar of Hindu Marriage. There is no prior permission or consent of parents for maariage. You can also give application for police protection to S.S.P
