Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned about the fact that you and your boyfriend wants to get married, and there's lot of pressure from the family which they are opposing for the same. I would suggest that you can get married through Registered marriage before the registrar and since you both are adult and have decided yourself there can be no such case which may land up your husband to jail.

please do not worry about anything as you both are major of age.

in court marriage, family objection is of no relevance of age is as per law.

though families try to file false cases to stop the marriage and also living together, bit if you both are together then nobody can stop you both.

Hello,

No issues may arise if both of you are adults. In India we have strong laws to protect the interest of individuals like you. If the marriage is by free will and consent, no one can stop it (unless you have a spouse). You being adults, can solemnise the marriage by Hindu tradition at temple (eg. arya samaj) which provides a certificate of marriage and have it registered at local registrar office. No case can be registered if above it followed. Feel free to contact if you have any further query.

If you both are ready then it's your right to marriage with anyone and by going court process then from the court you have to wait 1 month by filing the marriage file and after one month you have to come to the court for your marriage done.
