Need some help regarding marriage issues

Hi,I am hindi.there is some issues in my marriage life.my mother in law always do mentally torcher regarding my family.for some time I came back to my home.ow I want to go back my sausral.ow she said that U have to write one letter that she never abuse me n hit me.Is this okay to write letter to go back my sasural.i don't need any police case because I want to save my marriage life
