Need Advice On Changing The Family Sir Name

Hi All, Wanted to change my sir name as per my wish. 1) I am okay with same caste but need to change family sir name is it possible?

If you require a name change then you will be required to submit an affidavit for change of name (deed poll affidavit) on stamp paper which has to be attested by a notary. The prime details to be included in the newspaper publication are – new name, old name and residential address.

It is possible. You to issue paper publication and Gazette notification.
Then issue a notice to BBMP or local authority who issued birth certificates. Then if necessary file a suit for declation. It will 6 to 18 months time to go through this process.
