My parents are always fighting and hamper my studies can i run away?
01-May-2023 (In Family Law)
I am a female Indian student 23 years of age, my parents have disputes among themselves and they are always fighting with each other my mother keeps abusing my father she is suffering from some mental illness too and she tries to dominate everyone in the house and is violent. She keeps fighting with everyone and doesn’t wants to listen to anything, so can i go away from my home to live in some rented house without their permission? Because i am in LLB 1st semester and my exams are going to start in a few days. Can i also get some monetary help from the government to live somewhere else?
Hello...
yes you can live wherever you want to live as you are major and no one can stop you from living alone but you will not get any financial help from government . you will have to be self dependent financially physically emotionally and there is no other option .
for more information you can call me
thank you
In the above situation running is not an option. You should discuss the matter with some other senior member of your family or relatives. u can report the matter in police as well. However if u want u can live separately as well. For monetary help you can apply to DM of your city or can contact some NGO as well.
