My mother mentally tortures me what all remedies are available for me

I am a 23 year old female and my mother is a dominating person, she wants to control me and my life if I don’t do anything according to her then she tortures me and abuses me and also sometimes uses violence on me. She also fights with my father and abuses him and wants to dominate him too, she wants everyone to do things according to her. Can i file a complaint against her for mental torture.

Yes you can file a complaint against her... You can go to police station and lodge an F.I.R. against her....By which police will further start investigation... If police doesn't registers the case then you can give an application to Magistrate under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. by which your F.I.R. will be lodged or Magistrate by himself take a complaint case...

There should be some valid reason of ur mother wants to control your life. if there is not it's wrong, also if someone is torturing, and abusing , and hitting tht is illegal. For help nd safety u can call police. police is not going to arrest your mother but they will give warning to her and may also mentor her.
