Let me know whether they're staying together now ? And did anyone filed divorce? She can claim maintenance from your father for her maintenance and medical expenses. If you're a daughter and still not yet married then he should take responsibility of you regarding marriage maintenance.

Dear Queriest, Your mother can claim maintenance along with a petition of judicial separation if she is not living with your father since a considerable long period. Your mother may be granted maintenance if the court deems that She not able to maintain herself.
