A Happy and Satisfied client is what is expected from an Advocate. She delivers them in spades, and I feel that she should get the recognition she deserves. She welcomes every client with a smile and lends a sincere ear and is empathetic towards their issues. She has told me nothing but the truth on how deep in trouble I am but will fight till the end if I am true to her which has also led me to have such a good friend like her.

Q: Is it legal to record video in a bank, or is it considered an offense?

I have a problem with the interest on my fixed deposit with the bank. Initially, they admitted the mistake and tried to resolve it, but later they started speaking rudely, denying any error. I have video recordings of each visit to the bank regarding this issue. Can I legally use these recordings as evidence if I decide to pursue this matter in court? The recordings were made to address my issue and not to breach bank security.

Advocate Ramya Kunapareddy answered
Video recording is valid evidence and the same can be produced as an electronic evidence in accordance with procedure laid down under law. In case you have issues with services of the bank and you have valid proof that they have committed a breach or violation, you may approach consumer forum for suitable remedy as it amount to deficiency of services. Also you may lodge a complaint with banking ombudsman. This information is subject to limited information provided by you and shall not be regarded as an legal advise, and so please approach a lawyer for appropriate legal support.

Q: Getting remarried without getting a divorce

Hi I got married to a girl few years back in a court marriage. After a year or so she left me without informing me . I tried contacting her but I couldn't. She just disappeared so I couldn't divorce her. It's almost 10 years now . But now I want to get married again. Do I somehow need to apply for divorce by contacting her or can I get married without divorce? Will it be considered valid?

Advocate Ramya Kunapareddy answered
You may file divorce on the ground that your wife whereabouts are not known for more than 7 years. You shall have to obtain divorce before you again remarry otherwise you may face legal consequences if your first wife returns. So, you cannot remarry without formally obtaining a divorce.
