Can i marry a girl with same gotra? We both are Dixit. Can her family challenge our marriage in the court? We are Hindu Brahmins.

it's not better to marriage a girl with the same gotra.. according to our sanskriti..and our culture pandit g..although no law or any kind of obstruction is present there to break such marriages..but even in animals the pups of a same litters never becomes..Sam.. dire..if you both are of same gotra..and you guys believe in our sanskriti..then you should avoid..in my personal opinion..

no, you can't marriage same gotra because it's marriage is prohibited by Hindu Marriage Act 1955, and null and void by law, Brahmins is same gotra but you can marriage, marriage can not be invalid, through rule case
