Marriage through arya samaj is valid .But since its a marriage you need to cohabit with your spouse. If you intend to marry just for the sake of marrying and not cohabiting or just for a formality. You will be committing a crime punishable for 10 years of imprisonment for faking marriage.

Hi, the Hindu Marriage is governed by provisions of Hindu Maggiage Act. It says marriagebof Hindu Major if they fulfil conditions of valid marriage and had taken Saptpati can solemnizes marriage. So there is no need for witness even. But witnesses are required to prove marriage in case of disputes.

of course an Arya Samaj Marriage is possible in secrecy. However, you will still require proof of the same like atleast two witnesses, photographs of ceremony alongwith certificate from the temple where the ceremony was done. Also another requirement would be to get the marriage registered although you can worry about it after telling your family. Having said this, I advice you to be careful. Not all marriages which are against family have a happy ending. If you feel any danger when you tell the family, go to the nearest police station and take help. You might even want to go to court later for protection.

Take care and all the best.

As per Hindu law & Hindu marriage Act, the rituals have to be followed like saptpadi etc. where you take pheras (rounds) around agni (sacred fire) and even for proving marriage in future you need to show if such rituals followed, so you may keep your marriage secret but once you come out of secrecy, you have to show the rituals followed through photographs, video graph, witnesses and other circumstances showing marriage has happened, if authenticity of your marriage is objected anytime in future.
So it's advised that do perform marriage secrately but have some evidence of it as suggested.
