I have an elder brother who along with his wife is searching for a boy for me. They never discussed the intentions or plans with me or my parents, that when I want to marry, what kind of person I want, etc.
I am a 26yo, educated, modern, double MA teacher and have my own plans of marrying when I will feel ready. Last year I got to know that they came across a boy on a matrimonial app and shared the news with my elder sister, who shared it with me and I passed it on to my parents along with my decision that I don't want to marry right now. And then the whole thing got cancelled then and there.
Now last month I got messages from two people on Facebook that they came across my profile on a particular matrimonial app and want to contact me for the same. Through this message I am guessing that my brother might have uploaded my picture as well on that app, without my concent and I am certainly not comfortable with this. So is it legal? or comes under breach of cyber privacy? Please guide me.
